My favorite burp cloths ever.

You can have spit up on them and

still look cute wearing them.

Fifteen Pounds

So if they made a movie about our
child, it would be called
Fifteen pounds.
Cause that's how much this
sucker weighs now.
I better get some arm muscles!
Other things that are fifteen pounds,
and strange wooden boxes.

Another Dinner Adventure

So last nights dinner was
It was wonderful.
And then we watched the
saddest movie ever,
and guess what they
had for dinner.
Yup, Eggplant Parm.
Got to love it.

Santa Barbara

I haven't been by the beach for so long,
it was invigorating to drive by the ocean
and breathe in the salty air.
With the windows down
and Weezer playing in the background.

We walked around the busy streets
searching for thank you cards
that did not have butterflies on them.
And talking about our grown up life's,
and which wine we like best.

It was a wonderful day,
got to love living in California.

Indiana Jones

So all he needs is a hat and a whip.
He looks like he has just
discovered the lost treasure.
Such a look of adventure in those eyes.

Unleashing the Beast

This is much louder in person...
I love it! His poor future wife.

My Birthday

Me and my hubby on my birthday.
We are doing our best impressions of
two people who do not look tired.
How'd we do?
It was a crazy night,
we were at home and in bed
by ten.
OH Parenthood!

2 MONTHS

Today our baby is 2 months old today.
His favorite hobbies so far:
Eating, Sleeping (although you could have fooled me),
Poopin, Snoring, Grunting,
Sticking his tongue out, Smiling,
and Suckin on his hand.
We had a rough beggining,
but many beautiful months ahead of us.

Meeting his Aunt Missy

Aunt Missy..
Oh the things she gonna teach him...

Welcome to the animal tunnel

A brand new toy.. the first of many to come... oh boy

The many faces of happiness..

This face should tell a mom that
she has taken too many pictures of her
poor child, and if that flash goes off
just one more time, this innocent
little baby just might walk right
over to her and break that camera.
Needless to say, I took a few more
pictures before running and hiding.
One of the few nights that we actually made something new for dinner. As usual the baby woke up, roaring and ready to eat the exact minute that dinner was ready. Oh baby, I haven't even had a sip of wine yet. Anyways, dinner was pretty good.. courtesy of my secret lover.. the foodnetwork.. not so secret anymore...

"And if I could open my mouth,
Wide enough for a marching band to march out,
They would make your name sing,
And bend through alleys and bounce off other buildings."
